After the event completed, Ashley opted to not pursue competing. While she competed in tournaments she received offers of photography shoots. She didn't want to mix her jobs. After she retired from competition and quit, she started working as a fitness-model. The popular magazine for fitness included her on the cover, which immediately launched a career for fitness models. She has was a sought-after model. She was a model for a variety of clothing and bikini companies.
